I can summarise my answer in three ways.

Firstly, I bring passion for the industry and a commitment to it that comes from my formal training and career history. I have three years experience in this type of role and am skilled with recruiting, building and motivating my team to achieve targets consistently as seen by a 15% improvement in the service we offer year on year.

Finally, from a personal skills perspective, I bring excellent communication skills, an ability to resolve problem quickly and correctly, I can plan and organise effectively and I can negotiate successfully at all levels.

  • Know what they are looking for. Spend time analysing the job description and researching the employer so that you have an excellent view of just what they are looking for and the type of person they seek
  • Know your selling points, strengths and skills. Review your CV or Portfolio and be clear about what makes you the best fit for the position. Include Soft Skills, Working Experience, Achievements and Qualifications
  • What is really important to them Discover what they value, what they require you to do in post and tailor your answer accordingly.
  • Bring – not take. It is all about what you bring, not what you take so avoid mentioning anything about training or benefits that you hope to get.
