You must show the civil strengths positive behaviours expected along with the strengths they would expect to see expressed. Start with how you became aware of the issue for example:

“I was aware that my decision had to be based on several factors: whether it was a genuine cause, if there were viable alternatives and whether the advance of public funds was in the best interest of the DWP and its shareholders.

Continue outlining in details the key actions you took to complete the task successfully.

Result

Conclude with the outcome of your decision and its positive impact. Use measurable results if possible. For example here is a section you could include which refers to learnings you take away:

“The decision I made was correct and for me it was a good learning experience about following policy to the letter and not be swayed by the customer.”
